Welcome and thanks so much for stopping by our blog. Our story begins many, many years ago when we met in a college dorm. It was my first day on campus and I had locked myself out of my room. I went downstairs to find my roommate and get a key, when I met Geoff, my future best friend, husband, and photography business partner.
We both studied fine art photography, but our interests were different. I loved portraiture and printing black & white photos in the darkroom. Whereas, Geoff focused on large format and studio photography. Once we graduated with our Bachelor of Fine Art degrees, we worked together at a large commercial photo studio in Minneapolis, shooting product catalogs. After a few years, we moved into different jobs at different companies (but stayed married, and yes, still best friends.)
Jumping forward a number of years, Geoff started getting requests from friends and co-workers to photograph their weddings. Knowing how much I loved portraiture, he asked me if I would be his second shooter. After assisting with just one wedding, I knew that photography was what I wanted and needed to be doing again. It didn't take me too long to figure out that we should make a website, create a business name, and start our own boutique photography studio. Before long, Snowfrog Photography was created.

We live in Minneapolis with our two vizsla puppies. OK, they're not really puppies anymore, but we think of them that way. They provide constant entertainment, love, and are always ready to snuggle.
